Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.37%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 8.27% or 1,360.00 points to trade at 17,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Etb (BVC:ETB) added 6.73% or 3.50 points to end at 55.50 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 2.74% or 2,000.00 points to 74,960.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV), which fell 3.13% or 600.00 points to trade at 18,600.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) declined 3.10% or 1,380.00 points to end at 43,100.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was down 2.67% or 280.00 points to 10,200.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.27% or 1,360.00 to 17,800.00. Shares in Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.74% or 2,000.00 to 74,960.00.

US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.17% or 0.65 to $374.25 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.52% or 233.00 to hit $9,022.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.00% or 29.10 to trade at $2,866.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.61% to 4,157.30, while BRL/COP fell 0.32% to 706.72.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 107.51.
