Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.08%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which rose 3.33% or 4.10 points to trade at 127.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) added 2.68% or 9.65 points to end at 369.15 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was up 1.87% or 0.04 points to 2.29 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 3.85% or 3.25 points to trade at 81.20 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) declined 2.74% or 2.15 points to end at 76.20 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was down 2.66% or 2.35 points to 86.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 137 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.68% or 9.65 to 369.15.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.98% or 1.24 to $63.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.72% or 1.11 to hit $65.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 27.18 to trade at $3,370.02 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.24% to 11.55, while USD/NOK rose 0.68% to 10.14.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 99.06.
