Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.34%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.34% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 5.77% or 8,130.00 points to trade at 149,030.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Navitas Petroleum LP Unit (TASE:NVPTp) added 5.21% or 451.00 points to end at 9,101.00 and Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS) was up 5.10% or 560.00 points to 11,550.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 2.87% or 78.00 points to trade at 2,636.00 at the close. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FTAL) declined 2.74% or 1,460.00 points to end at 51,790.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 2.17% or 135.00 points to 6,080.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 210 and 87 ended unchanged.
Shares in Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.10% or 560.00 to 11,550.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.03% or 1.27 to $63.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.72% or 1.11 to hit $65.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 24.58 to trade at $3,372.62 a troy ounce.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 99.05.
