Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.00%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.00%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), which rose 1.14% or 140.00 points to trade at 12,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) added 0.69% or 480.00 points to end at 70,400.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was up 0.37% or 30.00 points to 8,230.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p), which fell 1.76% or 680.00 points to trade at 37,920.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) declined 1.36% or 220.00 points to end at 16,000.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was down 1.12% or 120.00 points to 10,580.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.60% or 2.10 to $349.90 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.64% or 63.00 to hit $9,795.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.49% or 50.80 to trade at $3,453.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.87% to 4,129.44, while BRL/COP fell 0.98% to 744.96.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 98.11.
