Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.08%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 9.39% or 13,480.00 points to trade at 157,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) added 2.04% or 260.00 points to end at 13,000.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) was up 2.00% or 300.00 points to 15,300.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which fell 2.07% or 100.00 points to trade at 4,740.00 at the close. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) declined 1.85% or 55.00 points to end at 2,925.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was down 1.21% or 440.00 points to 35,860.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.39% or 13,480.00 to 157,000.00. Shares in Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.00% or 300.00 to 15,300.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 5.01% or 19.90 to $416.75 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.60% or 193.00 to hit $7,613.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 33.10 to trade at $3,719.50 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3,906.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.03% to 734.17.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.96.
